Why scores matter

The first photo on a dating profile decides most of the swipes, and the headshot on a LinkedIn profile sets the tone before anyone reads a word. Most people pick their worst option because they are guessing, and a photo of yourself is the one photo nobody can judge. A score turns the guess into a number, and the notes tell you whether the fix is the light, the crop, or a different photo entirely.

Run the photo you already use first, before you change anything. A common result is that the photo sitting in slot four should have been slot one.

What the reviewer looks at

Light

Where the light comes from and what it does to your face. Overhead light digs shadows into the eye sockets, which is the single most common reason a photo reads as cheap.

Framing

How much of the frame you occupy and where your eyes sit. Too far away and your face disappears at the size the photo is actually displayed.

Expression

Whether the smile reaches the eyes. The difference between warm and stiff is read instantly and rarely consciously.

Background

Whether it is quieter than you are. A busy background does not read as candid, it reads as unconsidered.

Is the photo review really free?

Yes, and there is no account to make. You get 3 scores a day without signing up. Paid plans include more scores plus photo generation.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Pick a photo, pick where it is going, and you get the score. An account only matters if you want more than a few scores a day or want to generate photos.

What does the score measure?

How the photo reads for the context you pick: dating, work, social, or sales. The reviewer looks at light, framing, expression, and background, then tells you what to fix.

Is my photo stored?

No. It is sent for scoring and never written to our storage or our database. Nothing to delete afterwards because nothing is kept.

Does it work on AI generated photos?

Yes. Score any photo: a selfie, a photographer shot, or something another AI tool made. It is honest either way.

Why does my photo score low?

Most low scores come down to light, distance, or context mismatch. A dark photo, a photo where your face is small in the frame, or a holiday photo used as a LinkedIn headshot will all score badly for reasons that have nothing to do with you.

If the answer is a better photo
